It was engaging enough to keep me interested
till the end. It has given a certain sense and context to otherwise
motiveless killings by original Raman Raghav. It asks a question - is
the killing for personal interest by misusing the enormus power given by
the uniform is any lesser a crime than mindess killing by a psychopath ?
Aren't they complementing each other ?
Music is perfect, the locations are dark, unusual and haunting, Nawaz is too good as usual , Vicky Kushal not so (doesn't look cop from any angle - neither in body language nor in dialogue delivery)

In spite of all of the above it isn't exactly 2.0. It feels like
something is less there.... don't exactly know what..... Actually it has
all the usual Kashyap elements in place - Darkness, Violence, Lust,
Gray areas, Unusual Humor, Creepiness, all the between the lines...but
still ....May be because nothing is radically new here....Sense of Deja
Vu right from the poster (Remeber Shaitan's poster ? A movie completely
from Kashyap school of cinema). Is this style becoming too predictable ?
(despite the predictability, Ramanna's scenes with his sister are
chilling, i must confess).
Maybe i should wait for his next few movies to conclude anything.
